FUNKE AKINDELE DENIES ALLEGATIONS OF SNUBBING FUJI LEGEND PASUMA AT A LAGOS EVENT

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has dismissed claims that she deliberately ignored Fuji musician Pasuma at an event in Lagos over the weekend.

A video circulating on X showed the Fuji star attempting to get her attention while she was engaged in a conversation with someone else. In the clip, Akindele continues speaking with the other individual, after which Pasuma returns to his seat.

Following the video’s spread online, some users speculated that the actress had intentionally snubbed the music icon.

An X influencer, Uoladiti, shared the video with the caption: “Moment Funke Akindele snubbed Pasuma in public. This is not looking good at all.”

Responding to the claim, Funke Akindele dismissed the allegation, stating that she actually greeted and danced with Pasuma at the same event.

“Snub? Hell no. Stop the negativity pls. I saw him, greeted him, danced with him. Pasuma is my Egbon. Pls you all should stop this evil,” she wrote.

the MEDIA also recalls that Funke Akindele recently trended over a separate incident in which she appeared to snub her colleague Toyin Abraham at a movie premiere. Following that episode, Abraham reportedly vowed not to initiate any further conversations with Akindele.
