I WORK HARD TO KEEP MY FORM – MFM FC CAPTAIN,OPARA

MFM FC is one of the most proficient teams in the 2018/2019 season of the Nigerian Professional League,NPFL, sitting at the summit of Group A after 11 games. The club which is practically renown for grooming grassroots players who later go on to ply their trade amongst the best of the best, have many players who stood out so far this season. One of them is captain fantastic, Austin Opara.
MFM who are yet to lose a game at their Soccer Temple, Agege stadium have proven solid in their defence, led by Opara.
The club no 5 has had a very consistent performance, keeping a fantastic shape and form.
Speaking in an interview with hotjist.com, the skipper revealed that he had to continue to work hard not just on himself, but also with the team in order to always deliver a better performance on the field of play.
“As a captain I make sure I encourage the team and boost their morale. In MFM we believe it’s God that gave us the talent and ability to play, but, we also believe in working harder on ourselves in order to keep dishing out better performance”, he said.

Opara also revealed that one of his dreams is to play for the Super Eagles and also get a contract outside the shores of Nigeria.
