WOMAN SEEKS HELP OVER UNDERAGED DAUGHTER’S DEFILEMENT
By Aishat Momoh. O.
A woman whose underage daughter was allegedly defiled by unknown person has cried out for help after child’s school authority reportedly discard her complaint.
On 5th of July, 2022 the minor was reported to have been molested at the creche in Lohims Academy, a private school in the Ojota area of Lagos state.
A source had told Hotjist during a chat that the mother of the child reported the case and has been referred to the Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team (DSVRT), where she was asked to write a formal complain about the incident.
She was further directed to Mirable Hospital, where a test would be conducted on the child.
However, when the test was done, it was confirmed that there was a defilement adding that a sperm test was also being conducted.
At the time of filing the report, the sperm test and final documentation are being prepared.
The aggrieved mother says the incident took place at her child’s school and was reported to the police, but her efforts have hit the wall with the police seemingly indifferent to her plight.
She added that the case had also been reported to the school authority, but she was told not to point fingers or raise allegations.
“I called the proprietress and she claimed that it was just diaper rash, and that I should stop pointing fingers and allegations.”
