AFCON 2025: PHARAOHS HIGHLY MOTIVATED FOR SUPER EAGLES CLASH – HASSAN

Egypt head coach Hossam Hassan has said his side is fully motivated to claim third place at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Pharaohs will face Nigeria’s Super Eagles in the third-place playoff at the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca on Saturday, with kick-off scheduled for 5pm Nigerian time.
Egypt is aiming to finish the tournament on a high after suffering a narrow 1–0 defeat to Senegal’s Teranga Lions in the semi-finals on Tuesday.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Hassan expressed confidence in his team’s readiness and determination.
“We will fight for victory tomorrow so we can finish on the podium and end this AFCON campaign on a positive note,” he said.
