AISHA BUHARI PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO ATIKU

Former First Lady Aisha Buhari has paid a visit to former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar.
Atiku disclosed the visit in a post on his X account on Wednesday, describing the meeting with the former First Lady as warm and deeply appreciated.
He said the visit also underscored the responsibility of those advocating for a better Nigeria to prioritise the welfare, dignity and future of Nigerians.
“Today, I was delighted to receive former First Lady, H.E. Aisha Buhari. Her visit was warm and deeply appreciated,” Atiku wrote.
The former Vice-President noted that Nigerian families were increasingly struggling with the rising cost of essential goods and services, including food, transportation, education and healthcare.
He said Nigerians deserved an economy that rewards hard work, creates opportunities and enables families to live with dignity and hope.
According to Atiku, achieving such a Nigeria would require collective efforts to reduce the economic burden on citizens and restore hope.
“That is the Nigeria we must build together, a country that works for its people again. We must ease the burden, restore hope and Make Nigeria Affordable Again,” he added.
