Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba has died following a prolonged battle with cancer.
Osoba passed away on Tuesday evening, nearly two years after undergoing breast cancer surgery.
Her death was announced on Wednesday by her close associate and fellow actor, Alesh Ola Sanni, in a heartfelt tribute shared on Instagram.
Expressing his grief, Sanni wrote that he had been unable to sleep since learning of her passing, describing Osoba as a dear sister with whom he shared many cherished memories.
The actress had publicly appealed for financial assistance in November 2024 to undergo a second surgery as she continued her fight against cancer.
Her passing has sparked an outpouring of tributes from colleagues, fans and members of the Nigerian film industry, who have continued to mourn the loss of the actress.
