The Chairperson of the state fire agency, Mr. Moroof Akinwande, validated the occurrence in a statement released on Friday in Ibadan.

Akinwande said the agency received a distress call at exactly 4:04 p.m. on Thursday from one Mrs Adegoke Anifat.

The chairman indicated that no injuries were reported, although properties valued at millions of naira sustained damage or were completely destroyed.
