FIRST LADY’S DELEGATION PAYS CONDOLENCE VISIT TO KOGI GOVERNOR OVER FATHER’S DEATH

A delegation representing Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on Thursday paid a condolence visit to Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, following the death of his father, Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani.

The late Alhaji Momohsani passed away on August 18 and was buried the next day in accordance with Islamic rites.

Leading the delegation, Hajiya Laila Barau, wife of the Deputy Senate President, extended the First Lady’s sympathies to the governor, his family, and the people of Kogi State. She described the deceased as a fulfilled man who lived a worthy life and left behind a legacy of service and integrity.

The delegation, which included wives of state governors, ministers’ spouses, and senior federal government officials, offered prayers for the repose of the late patriarch’s soul, asking Almighty Allah to grant him forgiveness and Aljannah Firdaus.

Among the members were the wives of the governors of Yobe and Ebonyi states, as well as spouses of the Ministers of Works, Agriculture and Food Security, Defence, Budget and National Planning, and the Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Security.
