Yoruba Nation activist Sunday Adeyemo has said he is still awaiting the Federal Government’s approval for the take-off of his security outfit, Iru Ekun Security Network, aimed at flushing out criminal elements from forests in the South-West.
In a statement issued in Ibadan, Igboho disclosed that all required documents for the registration and approval of the security outfit have already been submitted to the Federal Government, and he is hopeful that clearance will be granted soon.
He also expressed his readiness to comply with the Oyo State Government’s Executive Order on the regulation of private security organisations, recently signed by Governor Seyi Makinde.
According to him, the group is prepared to work with the police, DSS, military, and other security agencies to tackle terrorism, kidnapping, banditry, and other crimes affecting rural communities.
Igboho further commended President Bola Tinubu for efforts to strengthen security architecture across the South-West and the country, stressing that collaboration remains essential for lasting peace and development.
