Brown Afolabi, husband of media personality Morayo, has criticised Pastor Jimmy Odukoya over his physical appearance, describing his tattoos, nose ring, earrings and muscular physique as manifestations of what he called “the flesh.”
Speaking during a discussion with Morayo, Brown questioned the pastor’s emphasis on maintaining his physical appearance despite occupying a senior position in the church.
He argued that tattoos, body-hugging outfits, nose rings, earrings and muscular physiques among men belonged to what he described as the same category.
“You see, tattoo, body hug, nose ring, earrings for men, biceps, triceps, everything I have mentioned, they are in the same WhatsApp group. And it is a WhatsApp group called The Flesh. This is all about the flesh,” he said.
Brown also questioned Odukoya’s fitness routine, asking why the pastor appeared so focused on looking physically attractive.
“Why is Jimmy Odukoya trying to look very hot? I’m telling you, he has worked heavily,” he added.
The criticism emerged during a discussion about Odukoya’s decision to remarry, which Morayo had earlier defended.
However, Brown suggested that there were other concerns surrounding the pastor that had not been publicly addressed.
“You don’t see what a lot of people do not see here is a pattern. Anyway, I won’t talk, I won’t talk. There is a bigger issue that the world has not seen,” he stated.
He further questioned the financial resources available to Odukoya as a senior pastor, noting that significant funds flowed within churches of that structure.
