POLICE ARREST TWO SUSPECTED KIDNAPPERS IN OYO

The Oyo State Police Command has arrested two suspected kidnappers in connection with the abduction of a 38-year-old man, identified as Nathaniel Peter.
Peter was reportedly kidnapped at Layeri Village, near Ikoyi-Ile, in Oyo State.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, Olayinka Ayanlade, disclosed this in a statement issued on Sunday.
According to the statement, the suspects, identified as Muhammadu Abubakar and Jayun Danali, were arrested in connection with the incident and are currently in police custody.
The police said efforts are ongoing to apprehend other suspects linked to the crime.
Preliminary investigations revealed that three armed men allegedly forced their way into Peter’s room and abducted him from the premises.
The command said the arrests were made as part of ongoing investigations aimed at uncovering the circumstances surrounding the abduction.
The statement added that Abubakar, an adult male, and Danali, a 17-year-old male, are assisting investigators with information relevant to the case.
