Emmy-winning actress Zendaya has addressed viral images falsely depicting a wedding between her and actor Tom Holland circulating online.

The photos, which began trending on Instagram in mid-February, quickly garnered widespread attention, accumulating over a million likes within an hour and prompting many fans to question their authenticity.

Speaking during an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Zendaya clarified that the images were AI-generated and not real, noting that a surprising number of people believed them to be genuine.

Zendaya revealed that the situation escalated as even those close to her were convinced she had secretly married the English actor, praising the photos.

“While I was just going about my day, people kept saying, ‘Oh my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous.’ And I had to clarify, ‘Babe, they’re AI. They’re not real,’” she explained.
