The Nigeria Vice president Yemi Osinbajo has assured that the federal government is not planning to stop the N-power programme but will see the programme through.
Osinbajo was speaking at the official launch of the programme in the state at the multi skill and entrepreneurship Development Centre, Umuobiakwa in Obingwa local government area of Abia State.
The vice president who said that participants in the scheme represent the first fruit of a very important federal government programme, pointed out that the federal government wants to demonstrate through the program that it is possible to keep and train youths using technology.
On his part,Governor Okezie Ikpeazu called on the federal government to add impetus to executive order no 3 which makes it mandatory for Nigerians to ensure that they look inwards for products made locally before before importing such goods
The vice president during the visit inspected the Ariaria market where the federal government is powering some shops through the Rural Electrification Agency.
