TOMORI AND ABRAHAM: WE CANNOT BEG PLAYERS – KANU DECLARES
Following Chelsea duo, Tomori and Tammy Abraham snubbing the Super Eagles to pledge allegiance to the English national team, Former Nigeria international, Kanu Nwankwo has dropped a strong message.
Speaking in reaction to the latest development, Kanu said, “Our problem is that whenever someone starts doing well, we start chasing them which is not bad because other countries do that.”
“I feel we don’t need to force people to play for the country because Nigeria is bigger than any player.”
Tomori and Abraham both received a call up to the Three Lions yesterday by coach Southgate.
