POLICE ARRESTS MAN WHILE WIELDING MACHETE, HAMMER FOR VIOLENT CRISIS

Operatives of the Rap[id Response Squad in response to a violent crisis around Idi araba, Mushin has arrested one Muhammed Yaro aged 25, while wielding machete and hammer on Thursday.
On sighting the police, others who were at the scene fled at about 11;00am on the same day.
Same day, at about 11:00 p.m, our operatives combing suspected flashpoints in Dopemu, Egbeda, Idimu, Council Roundabout, Ikotun and environ, arrested 31 suspects.
Eighteen of the suspects were released to their relatives after a thorough screening was carried out by the Commander of the squad, CSP Yinka Egbeyemi.
Thirteen suspects are to be charged to court for prosecution in line with the directives of the Commissioner of Police, CP Adegoke Fayoade.
