TINUBU GIVES NEDC APPROVAL to USE ELECTRIC VEHICLES
The North East Development Commission’s (NEDC) proposal to employ electric vehicles to reduce transportation issues in the area has been accepted by President Bola Tinubu.
This was revealed by the commission’s chairman, General Paul Tarfa (retd), following a brief meeting with the vice president on Wednesday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

According to him, the commission is setting up procedures to construct a 5 kVA or 10 kVA solar-powered grid to fill in any gaps in the supply of electricity.
In addition to electric cars that have been customized to accommodate additional passengers and cargo, electric tricycles are anticipated to be introduced in the area.
