As the 2025/26 football season kicks off this August, UEFA has released its updated ranking of the best leagues in Europe.

According to the latest five-year club coefficient rankings published on UEFA’s official website, the English Premier League remains the highest-ranked league in Europe. The Premier League retains the top spot, ahead of Italy’s Serie A, which sits in second place.

Rounding out the top five are Spain’s LaLiga in third, Germany’s Bundesliga in fourth, and France’s Ligue 1 in fifth.
