Nigerian-born clergyman, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, has shared insights regarding his journey to recovery from cancer.

In a widely circulated video on social media, Adegboyega conveyed profound appreciation to those who supported him during his health challenges.

He recognized the prayers, gifts, and words of encouragement he received, characterizing them as a vital source of strength throughout the ordeal.

The clergyman also contemplated the cultural attitudes towards illness in Nigeria, remarking that many individuals found it difficult to accept his experience, though it constituted his reality.

“This is proof of life, I’m alive, I’m recovering. I’ve gone through the surgery then there’s the chemo treatment afterwards” he said.

“When you try to tell this to Nigerians they’ll say it’s not your portion, but it was my portion” he remarked.
