By Shodayo Sunmisola Michael
A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a Security Consultant based in the United States, Monday Alade, has urged the citizens of Ondo State to come together in support of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for the advancement, political stability, and future electoral successes of the state.
Alade stated that what the governor requires most at this juncture is the unwavering backing of the populace to achieve success. He characterized the recent provocative statements directed at Aiyedatiwa as regrettable, recalling that similar assaults previously detracted from the accomplishments of the late Dr. Olusegun Agagu.
Alade, who is presently employed as a law enforcement officer in the U. S., implored the residents of Ondo South not to repeat historical errors, emphasizing that the Ikales would face the most significant repercussions if they neglect to support the governor. He reminded them of the extended period of darkness experienced by the Ikales and Ilajes for nearly 25 years, warning against allowing history to recur.
“This is a lifetime opportunity for the people of Ondo South to have one of their own as governor. The South develops faster whenever a Southerner leads because only Southerners truly understand the peculiar challenges of the region,” he asserted.
Alade affirmed that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s initiatives and programmes are already producing favorable outcomes and encouraged members of the APC throughout the state to unite in support of his administration.

“You must combat security challenges with modern technology,” he stressed.
Alade also expressed his satisfaction with the accomplishments of the Aiyedatiwa-led administration, particularly the recent report from the National Bureau of Statistics, which ranked Ondo State as the first to clear its internal debts and the lowest in the national poverty index.
He praised the governor’s legacy projects, including the dualization of major thoroughfares and the execution of essential infrastructure, deeming them commendable and advantageous for the state’s long-term development.
