The weeklong activities marking the 100 Days in Office (Second Term) of Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, continued on Wednesday, with the commissioning of four newly completed roads within Bello Folawiyo Estate, Ikosi, Lagos.
The newly commissioned roads include Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada Street, Solomon Niran Aluko Street, Bello Folawiyo Street, and Yetunde Owoseni Close — all strategically designed to improve accessibility, enhance connectivity, and promote economic growth within the community.

Speaking at the event, the Chairman said the commissioned roads form part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure, ease mobility, and enhance the quality of life for residents across the LCDA.
These projects, she emphasized, “are not mere asphalt; they are symbols of responsiveness, speed, and sincerity in governance.”
According to Princess Bada, “Today is not just about roads — it is about Renewed Hope in action. It is about a promise kept to the people who trusted us, and a clear statement that Ikosi–Isheri LCDA is fully aligned with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the T.H.E.M.E.S Plus vision of our hardworking and result-driven Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.”

She added, “Folawiyo Estate is one of the most vibrant residential and commercial communities in Ikosi–Isheri. Every road here supports a purpose: education, commerce, safety, and mobility.
“Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada Street serves as the estate’s main artery. Solomon Niran Aluko Street provides a vital link between adjoining communities.
“Bello Folawiyo Street drives economic activity. Yetunde Owoseni Street brings peace of mind. Each road reflects our administration’s sensitivity and sincerity. We don’t make noise; we deliver results.”

Earlier, on Tuesday, three key streets in the Olowora community — Adetuberu Street, Isaac Omole Street, and Temitayo Obisanya Street — were commissioned.
Princess Bada described the projects as symbolizing “access that drives growth and governance that touches lives,” reflecting the local implementation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s T.H.E.M.E.S Plus vision.

The council boss noted that the benefits of these road projects are already visible. “Better access for parents taking children to school, easier transportation for workers and traders, and safer movement for residents and worshippers — this is how grassroots development supports the Renewed Hope vision of President Tinubu,” she said.
Community stakeholders, government officials, political leaders, and residents attended the events, expressing appreciation to the Chairman for her developmental strides and inclusive leadership style.

As part of the ongoing celebration, more projects — including palliative distribution, empowerment schemes, and the commissioning of the refurbished Mile 12 International Market (Phase II) — are expected to be unveiled in the coming days.
Princess Bada assured residents that, within her tenure, no community under her administration would be left behind, noting, “As long as I remain your Chairman, governance will continue to reach every home, every street, and every heart. We are building together — for the people, by the people, and with the people. Because here in Ikosi–Isheri LCDA, Renewed Hope lives here.”
