The Director-General of the Protocol Directorate of the Kano State Government House, Abdullahi Rogo, has stated that citizens and voters in the state have agreed that former Governor and current political figure Rabiu Kwankwaso, along with Governor Abba Yusuf, should defect from the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Rogo made the disclosure in a viral video released by Arewa Update on Sunday.
According to him, the planned defection of the two political leaders to the APC follows a meeting with the Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly.
“After our meeting with the Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly and other members of Kwankwasiyya, we agreed that Kwankwaso and Kano State Governor Abba K. Yusuf should join the APC,” he said.
