RIVERS STATE SECRETARY TO THE GOVERNMENT, BENIBO ANABRABA, RESIGNS FROM PDP

The Secretary to the Rivers State Government (SSG), Benibo Anabraba, has officially resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Anabraba announced his decision in a letter dated January 5, 2026, addressed to the PDP chairman of Ward 1 in Akuku-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State.
In the letter, he cited personal reasons for his resignation, while expressing gratitude to the party for the platform, support, and political opportunities it provided during his tenure as a member.
He did not indicate his next political move in the resignation letter.
However, reliable sources suggest that the former PDP chieftain may soon join the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
