SUPER EAGLES’ PREDICTED XI FOR AFCON ROUND OF 16 CLASH WITH MOZAMBIQUE

Nigeria will face Mozambique in the Round of 16 at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations on Monday.
The Super Eagles enter the clash as favourites to advance to the quarter-finals.
Coach Eric Chelle is expected to make a few changes to his starting lineup, having rested several players during the final group-stage match.

One of the anticipated changes sees goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali return to the starting lineup, replacing Francis Uzoho, who featured against the Cranes.
Semi Ajayi is expected to partner Calvin Bassey in central defence, while Bruno Onyemaechi retains his spot at left-back.
Bright Osayi-Samuel will fill in for the injured Ryan Alebiosu at right-back.
Alex Iwobi and captain Wilfred Ndidi are set to reclaim their positions from Raphael Onyedika and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru.
Coach Eric Chelle is likely to deploy four attackers, with Victor Osimhen and Akor Adams leading the line, supported on the flanks by Ademola Lookman and Samuel Chukwueze.
