Nigerian Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti has accused singer Wizkid of appropriating his nickname.
The claim came during a recent livestream when a fan of Wizkid suggested that Kuti change his moniker “Big Bird,” citing Wizkid’s nickname, “Biggest Bird.”

Responding to the fan, Kuti insisted that Wizkid should be original, emphasizing that he has been using the name long before the Starboy singer.
“Wizkid stole my name. Tell your favorite to be original. Why are you telling me to change my name? Sorry, I can’t change it. This name has been here since. I am the first to come up with it. I am not dragging it with anybody, please,” Kuti said.
