Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, has formally inaugurated the All Progressives Congress (APC) digital membership registration exercise in the state.
The inauguration took place on Thursday at the Wukari Local Government Council.
Addressing party stakeholders at the event, Governor Kefas said the electronic registration initiative was aimed at promoting equity, transparency, and credibility in the party’s membership system. He explained that the process would ensure the accurate electronic capture of members’ details, thereby validating their status as bona fide members of the APC.
The governor stressed that participation in the digital registration exercise is compulsory, noting that members who fail to complete the process would not be revalidated.
He urged party members to participate actively in the exercise, with particular emphasis on women, whom he described as the backbone and key mobilizers of the party. Kefas reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to encouraging women’s participation in political and party activities.
