Signs of a possible easing have emerged in the political crisis rocking Rivers State.
President Bola Tinubu last night met with the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, and some state leaders at Aso Rock.
Though details of the meeting remain sketchy, a source informed us that the embattled Governor Fubara followed Wike to his house in Guzape, Abuja, after the meeting.
Fubara was said to have begged the minister, vowing never to disrespect him again.
