VIDEO: NDLEA UNCOVERS DRUGS CONCEALED IN PARCELS, CAUTIONS TRAVELLERS

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has warned travellers and shippers against carrying parcels or luggage they did not personally pack.
The advisory was highlighted in a video from one of the agency’s recent drug interception operations, shared on X on Sunday by spokesperson Femi Babafemi.

Babafemi wrote, “Watch one of the latest drug busts by @ndlea_nigeria and you’ll see why you should never trust any parcel or luggage that wasn’t packed by you on your trips.”
The three-minute, 10-second video shows NDLEA operatives discovering narcotics cleverly hidden inside ordinary luggage and courier parcels intended for travel.
NDLEA officials have repeatedly stressed that drug syndicates routinely exploit unsuspecting passengers and third-party packers by slipping illegal substances into bags or parcels that victims never personally prepared or inspected.
