The acting chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers in Osun State, Kazeem Oyewale, has dismissed allegations that he plotted to assassinate the son of Governor Ademola Adeleke, B-Red.
The state government, through Commissioner for Information Kolapo Alimi, had claimed that B-Red narrowly escaped an attack allegedly carried out by hoodlums linked to Oyewale, popularly known as Asiri Eniba. According to the government, the incident occurred around the Oke-Fia area, close to the Government House in Osogbo.
Responding to the allegations during a press briefing in Osogbo on Monday, Oyewale denied any involvement and accused the government of falsely targeting him. He also threatened legal action over the claims.

The APC chieftain appealed to President Bola Tinubu and Inspector-General of Police Olatunji Disu to intervene, alleging harassment and intimidation by state officials.
Oyewale further claimed that his younger brother was killed in 2022 and that the family had yet to recover the body. He accused political opponents of attempting to frame him for violence and vandalism, including the destruction of campaign billboards.
He maintained that he had no connection with the allegations and urged his supporters not to panic, insisting that the accusations were politically motivated ahead of another election cycle in the state.
