The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State has expressed confidence in its grassroots structures across the state ahead of the 2027 general elections, maintaining that its membership base and organisational network remain strong enough to drive its campaign.

The state chairman of the party, Warman Weri Ogoriba, made this known in a statement on Saturday while reacting to recent political realignments ahead of the elections.

Ogoriba said the APC had established structures across the state’s eight local government areas and political wards.

He added that the party would continue to strengthen its internal organisation and mobilise voters as part of its preparations for the 2027 elections.

The APC chairman said the party would remain focused on its internal structures and continue to engage stakeholders and expand its membership across the state

He said, “The task before the party is to remain organised, disciplined and committed to the collective objective of advancing the APC and supporting its candidates at all levels.

“We are confident that the combination of the party’s existing structures, committed members, stakeholders and grassroots networks would provide the foundation for a strong electoral campaign in 2027.”

Ogoriba urged party members and supporters to remain united and committed, assuring them that the state leadership would continue to mobilise support across communities.

He also reaffirmed the commitment of the APC leadership in Bayelsa to supporting Tinubu and other party candidates in the 2027 elections.
