
BAMISE, SLAIN 22-YEAR-OLD FASHION DESIGNER FOR BURIAL DEC,16
The family of the late Ayanwola Oluwabamise, who was allegedly raped and murdered by a BRT driver, Andrew Nice Ominikoron, has officially announced her burial for December 14 and 16, 2022.
According to the family, a Christian wake-keep will be held for her on Wednesday, while she would be buried on Friday, at the Atan Cementry in Lagos.
Recall that on 30th of November, 2022, the Ayanwolas held a 22nd post humous birthday in memory of the deceased.
Bamise went missing on Saturday, February 26, 2022 after boarding a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), at Chevron, Lekki enroute Oshodi at about 7pm while she was on her way to visit her elder brother.
Unfortunately, her decomposing body was found by the roadside on Ebute-Ero/Carter Bridge, Lagos Island few days after boarding the bus.
The body has since been lying in the mortuary.
The bus driver Andrew Nice Ominikoron has been arrested and he is facing five – count charge before a Lagos High Court sitting in Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS).
