DAVIDO'S 'TIMELESS' TRACKLIST REVEALED IN EXCLUSIVE SPOTIFY VIDEO

Spotify has released an exclusive trailer to promote Davido’s upcoming album, “Timeless.”

With his upcoming fourth album, Nigerian megastar Davido is primed to push his career to new heights. The album was revealed in a video that portrays the African superstar on the set of a TV interview, and it comes as fans await the release of the Afrobeats star’s fourth studio album, which was planned for March 31.

The clip, which was released on Spotify’s social channels, shows Davido answering questions about his new body of work, which he describes in one word: timeless. A teleprompter nearby reads out the album’s much-anticipated tracklist – and if the calibre of performers and Davido’s knack for timeless collaborations are any indication, the album will be epic, fans are in for an amazing musical experience.

The CD will have 17 songs, including the previously released ‘Champion Sound’ with Amapiano ambassador Focalistic. It features a roster of established worldwide and upcoming local musicians, in keeping with Davido’s decade-long reputation as an Afrobeats and global music connector and essential collaborator.

Skepta, the UK Grime legend, Dexta Daps, Grammy winner Angelique Kidjo, and Nigerian hitmaker Asake are among the most fascinating names. Davido also utilizes the album to highlight new talent such as Nigerian singers Logos olori and Fave, as well as The Cavemen, an innovative Nigerian folk band, and Morravey, a digital content developer.

The trailer accompanies the Spotify-only ‘Timeless Afro’ playlist, which comprises the most definitive Afrobeat music as handpicked by the artist.

These activities are part of Spotify’s ongoing support for the singer’s return to the public eye, as well as its long-standing aim to support African music and its producers.
