
LAGOS STATE SET TO COMMENCE BASIC EDUCATION CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION ON MONDAY

The Lagos State Basic Education Board, has announced that the year 2023 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) will commence on Monday, 3rd July in all schools in Lagos State as scheduled.
This information was made known to all parties involved in a circular signed by the director of the Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu.
The test will start on Monday, July 3, and run through Saturday, July 8, 2023, in all schools’ centers throughout the state.
Therefore, he urged all Principals of Junior Secondary Public and Approved Private Schools in the State to rigorously follow the instructions for conducting the examinations. He further warned that any institution found engaging in examination malpractice would not be excused.
In order to ensure a successful exercise, Orunsolu pleaded for the ongoing support and cooperation of all interested parties.
