
NAPOLI CONFIDENT OF KEEPING OSIMHEN DESPITE EXIT LINKS
Napoli are growing increasingly confident of keeping Manchester United and Chelsea target Victor Osimhen as talks on a new contract advancing well with the Nigerian.
According to Italian Publications, Napoli will hold a new round of discussion Osimhen’s camp to finalize the details of the proposed deal.
The report also hints that the new deal will a probable release clause that will will bar any monstrous offer from suitors and guarantee the striker’s stay in Naples for at least one more season.
The Italian Serie A champions are in a hurry to tie down their No.9 to a long-term contract to prevent him from leaving this summer.
The Naples-based club won the Scudetto for the first time in 33 years with the help of the former Lille forward last season and they intend to defend the title next season counting on the services of the world-class striker.
The Super Eagles forward has attracted the interest of Manchester United and Chelsea, having established himself as one of the most clinical strikers in Europe.
Osimhen is also on the radar of French Ligue 1 champions PSG, while Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich consider him as an alternative option to their primary target Harry Kane.
