TINUBU APPOINTS NEW CUSTOMS DCGs, ACGs
President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of a new management team for the Nigeria Customs Service.
In a statement signed by the National Public Relations Officer of the service, Abdullahi Maiwada, the appointees include three deputy comptroller generals and three assistant comptroller generals.
The appointed Deputy Comptrollers-General (DCGs) include, F O Okun, MBA Musa and A Hamisu while three new Assistant Comptrollers-General (ACGs) are K Olumoh, AB Mohammed and A Alajogun.
The new Customs top management followed the appointment of the Acting Comptroller-General, Mr. Adewale Adeniyi by President Tinubu on June 19.
In the statement, Adeniyi while thanking the retired members of the management for their meritorious service, congratulated the newly appointed officers.
He charged them to redouble their efforts to ensure the service achieves greater heights in its mandates of revenue generation, suppression of smuggling, and trade facilitation.
