OUR PEOPLE BEHIND AIYEDATIWA, ONDO DEPUTY GOV BOASTS OVER APC PRIMARY
Under the supervision of Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo, the deputy governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olayide Adelami, has expressed confidence in his principal, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, winning the current APC primary poll.
Adelami claimed to have proof that the state’s populace firmly supports Aiyedatiwa.
The deputy governor made this claim to reporters shortly after the votes in his Igboroko 2 Ward 3 in Owo were counted, according to a statement released by his spokesperson, Paul Akindurohe.
“When I came here this morning, I did not see anyone behind other aspirants. However, I expected nothing less because our people in Owo have for a long time, demonstrated their commitment to the Aiyedatiwa project.
“You can see the crowd of people behind Aiyedatiwa’s stand. It shows Owo people are a hundred per cent behind him and this is the same positive news across the state” the deputy governor remarked.
He thanked Owo All Progressives Congress members for turning out in large numbers to support his principal, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, in the state’s primary election on Saturday.
Adelami also expressed gratitude to party supporters, security personnel, and Independent National Electoral Commission officials for the orderly conduct of the APC primary poll in the wards they visited.
