AMAECHI ATTENDS ADC PRESIDENTIAL SCREENING IN ABUJA

Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has arrived at the venue of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential screening exercise.
Amaechi, who is seeking the party’s presidential ticket, arrived at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja on Wednesday dressed in traditional Niger Delta attire and accompanied by several of his close associates ahead of the screening.

The former Rivers State governor officially declared his intention to contest the 2027 presidential election last week.
He announced his ambition shortly after submitting his presidential nomination forms at the ADC national secretariat in Abuja.
Speaking after the submission, Amaechi stated that he did not obtain the nomination forms to pursue a vice-presidential position.
He stressed that his goal is to contest for Nigeria’s presidency in the 2027 general election.
