Herdsmen set Falae’s farm on fire
Suspected Fulani Herdsmen have reportedly set ablaze, a farm belonging to the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Chief Olu Falae.
Falae’s Personal Assistant (PA) Capt. Raji Moshood confirmed that the farm, located at Ilado in Akure North local government was set ablaze around 6pm on Sunday.
Moshood further explained that information from the farm confirmed that the over five acres of farmland have been set ablaze by the herdsmen.
He hinted that Chief Falae and himself were already on the way to the farm to have first hand information.
Falae was kidnapped by herdsmen on the same farm in 2015 but was rescued by the Police.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Femi Joseph said he was yet to be briefed on the incident.
