‎The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin, has urged Chief Akinola Alabi, the newly installed Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland, to use his new role to facilitate the arrival of more developmental projects in the area.

‎The monarch made the appeal during the installation ceremony of Chief Alabi.

‎Alabi, who currently represents the Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives under the All Progressives Congress (APC), was honored at the event held on Friday at the Olubadan Palace in Ibadan.

‎His official decoration with Akoko leaves was performed by the Oluwo of Ibadanland, Chief Abdulwahab Popoola.

‎He said, “You have been installed as the Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland today, there are hundreds of Mogajis (family heads) in Ibadanland before your choice.

‎”Your appointment and installation as Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland is as a result of your meaningful contributions to Ibadanland.

‎“I want to charge you to continue to attract more developmental projects to Ibadanland. Do your best to bring more federal projects to Ibadanland.”
