22 Vehicles Impounded as Officials Clear Obstructions and Illegal Parking

In a continued effort to enforce road regulations, the Lagos State TASKFORCE has intensified its clampdown on illegal activities contributing to traffic congestion along the Lekki-Epe Expressway.

During a recent compliance operation targeting both the inward and outward lanes of the expressway, officials visited key areas including Aja under-bridge, Eleganza Oluwanishola, Chevron, VGC, Ikota, Lekki Phase 1, and the First and Second Junctions. These spots had been identified as traffic bottlenecks due to illegal parking, unauthorized bus stops, and other obstructions.

A total of 22 vehicles were impounded during the operation, and normalcy was restored in the affected areas.

Authorities have confirmed that all violators will face appropriate legal action in accordance with the law.
