Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has disclosed that she underwent medical tests to refute allegations of drug and alcohol addiction made against her by her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
The couple’s private dispute became public in October after a viral video showed the actress in tears, alleging domestic abuse. In response, Nwoko accused Daniels of battling substance abuse.
While Daniels initially acknowledged using drugs, she later claimed that her estranged husband engineered her exposure to substance use as a means of control and manipulation.
In a recent post on her Instagram page, the actress shared video clips from an undisclosed hospital, documenting the testing process and the collection of her results.
According to Daniels, the test was conducted to clear her name, as she denied allegations of hard drug use. She, however, admitted to having used ecstasy, commonly known as “molly,” explaining that there were specific reasons for her actions.
“I was never on any hard drugs or any fabricated substances being circulated online. I intend to take legal action at the appropriate time. The only substance I have ever been associated with is ecstasy, popularly called molly, and there was a reason for that,” she stated.
