BREAKING: QUEEN OF ENGLAND IS DEAD

The Buckingham Palace has announced the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, the Queen of England.
In a terse statement, it was said that the Queen passed on peacefully this afternoon at Balmoral Estate, near Aberdeen, Scotland.
Aged 96, Queen Elizabeth was the longest serving monarch in the history of England.
The release stated that the “The King and The Queen consort will remain at Balmoral and return to London tomorrow”.
Queen Elizabeth ascended the throne on February 6, 1952 and thus reigned for 70 years.
Earlier on Thursday, the medical team of the Royal family had expressed grave concerns over the health of the Queen.
The new King, Charles has expressed his profound sadness on his mother’s passing. He issued the statement on Thursday evening.
