ACCIDENT ON 3RD MAINLAND BRIDGE LEAVES SEVERAL INJURED, NO FATALITIES RECORDED

A road accident involving a Toyota Camry and a commercial bus (commonly known as “Danfo”) occurred earlier today on the 3rd Mainland Bridge, just before Adekunle Junction, inward Lagos.

 

According to eyewitnesses, the commercial bus somersaulted multiple times, resulting in several passengers sustaining injuries. Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported.

 

The Rapid Response Squad (RRS) bikers and patrol vehicles promptly arrived at the scene and administered first aid to the injured. Officers from the Adekunle Police Division were also on ground, providing critical rescue support.

 

Emergency service providers have been mobilized to ensure the swift evacuation and medical attention of the injured.

 

Vehicular movement on the bridge, which was briefly disrupted, has now been fully restored. The accident vehicles have been cleared from the road to allow for the free flow of traffic.
