ACTRESS FUNKE AKINDELE RESPONDS SHARPLY TO FAN WHO ASKED WHEN SHE WILL BUY A LAMBORGHINI (VIDEO)

Nigerian filmmaker and actress Funke Akindele has reacted to a fan’s question about when she will be purchasing a Lamborghini.
The topic of Lamborghinis has been trending on social media recently, following Burna Boy and Sophia Egbueje’s Lamborghini drama, as well as Mercy Eke’s Lamborghini purchase.
Kemi Filani reported last week that the internet went into a frenzy when Big Brother Naija winner, Mercy Eke, revealed she had bought a Lamborghini.
Still reeling from the news, an audio recording surfaced online where socialite Sophia Egbueje shared details of her sexual relationship with Burna Boy and his promise to buy her a Lamborghini, which he didn’t deliver. Fortunately, she managed to get it herself.
In a Snapchat chat with her followers, one fan asked Funke when she would be buying her own Lamborghini.
“When are you buying a Lamborghini?” the fan asked.
Funke, in her response, pointed out how social media users often take everything as a joke. Jokingly, she threatened to block the fan and questioned why people always try to make everything a trend.
“Everything is always funny to you people Abi? I will block you. It is everything you guys are using to trend?”.
Last month, Funke responded to a fan who asked about her sex life. The fan questioned if the mother of two had time for sex, urging her to make time for it and for massages. Funke expressed surprise at the fan’s comment in her reply.
The box office queen also disagreed with a Twitter user who commented on her work ethic. The user shared how Funke inspired them, mentioning that whenever they feel like resting, they remember Funke is still working hard, which pushes them to continue hustling. Funke, however, disagreed, stating that she does take time to rest properly.
Last year, Funke opened up about the difficult times she faced before achieving fame. She shared a video of herself working on the set of her highest-grossing billion-dollar movie, A Trībe Called Judah, and spoke about how she is a testament to believing in herself. Despite facing numerous challenges, she learned to rise above them and encourages others to do the same.
Funke is currently the Queen of the Box Office, as her latest film, Everybody Loves Jenifa, became the highest-grossing movie of all time in West Africa, with a total of 1.6 billion Naira. This success surpassed her previous record set by A Trībe Called Judah, which grossed over 1.4 billion Naira.
