ADAMAWA AGRICULTURE COMMISSIONER, DAVID JATAU, PASSES ON

Adamawa State Commissioner for Agriculture, Professor David Jatau, has died.
His death was confirmed on Saturday in a statement issued by Humwashi Wonosikou, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Ahmadu Fintiri.
According to reports, Professor Jatau passed away in Abuja following a brief illness.
The deceased commissioner was said to have spearheaded several initiatives aimed at improving food security, boosting agricultural productivity and empowering farmers in the state.
The governor described the late Commissioner as a loyal and dedicated public officer who distinguished himself both as an academic of repute and as a committed public servant.
Professor Jatau was a man of intellect, integrity, and service. He brought his wealth of knowledge from the ivory tower into government and deployed it diligently for the growth of our agricultural sector and the well-being of our people,” the governor said in a statement.
