ADORABLE WOMEN INTERNATIONAL EMPOWERS 30 WOMEN TO MARK 5TH ANNIVERSARY

More than thirty women have benefitted from the empowerment exercise of the Adorable Women International (AWI) during its 5th year Anniversary that took place on August 5 at He Cares Event Place, Soka Ibadan.
The sum of 50,000 naira was given to each benefactor as a token to support their small business.
More than thirty women have benefitted from the empowerment exercise of the Adorable Women International (AWI) during its 5th year Anniversary that took place on August 5 at He Cares Event Place, Soka area of Ibadan. Each Benefactor received that fifty thousand naira as a token to help them start up a small business.
AWI, a non governmental and non profit organization, was founded on 3rd of August 2018 by the current President, Adorable Zainab Monilola Akim-Yusuf, with the aim of giving back to the society and easing the burden of the less-privileged, physically challenged, orphans and widows.
Speaking on the 5th Anniversary’s theme of “Easing Stress and Giving Hope,” Akim-Yusuf said the organization’s mission is to give people, especially women, hope regardless of the challenges they face in life.
She claims that the organisation would continue to uphold its corporate social responsibility to the community by periodically sponsoring empowerment and skill-acquisition initiatives to improve the lives of women, underprivileged people, and widows.
She also urged the government to support women, particularly widows and others who are less privileged in society, by implementing projects and policies that will improve their quality of life.
Adorable Olabisi Awosanya (PhD), who delivered the message of the Board of Trustees of Adorable Women International, urged women all over the nation to support one another at all times in order to improve society and Nigeria in general.
Dr. Awosanya emphasised the necessity for women to think creatively by pursuing great education and vocational training in order to be independent and make significant contributions to society.
The 5th Anniversary of Adorable women International which was attended by right advocates, omen Advocates and Entrepreneurs also featured presentation of gifts to the less-privileged, widows and women across the state.
