Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Kola, has opened up about his struggles with love, admitting that his romantic journey has been far from smooth.
Speaking ahead of the reunion show, which premiered on Monday night, Kola said his experiences in love have been challenging, noting that love has dealt him some hard lessons.
Despite the disappointments, he expressed gratitude for having experienced love, stressing that not everyone gets the opportunity to fall in love.
“Love has shown me shege. The funny thing is that some people go through life without ever falling in love. So, whenever you find yourself in love, appreciate it because not everyone gets to experience that feeling,” he said.
During the reality show, Kola was known for openly professing his feelings for fellow housemate Dede, who did not return his affection.
Following the show, Dede maintained that she would not have pursued a relationship with Kola, even if she had not been involved with someone outside the house, explaining that the Canada-based businessman did not fit her ideal partner profile.
