The Minister of State for Environment, Ibrahim Usman Jibril has resigned his appointment.
Jubrin was said to have tendered his resignation on Wednesday at the ongoing Federal Executive Council presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari.
His resignation followed his emergence as Emir of Nasarawa.
Jibrin was appointed as the Minister of State for Environment in December 2015 when the council was constituted after being screened and confirmed by the Senate.
