Gabriel Dawang, a member of the Plateau State House of Assembly representing Pankshin North, has emerged the new Speaker on Tuesday.
The emergence of the member of the Young Peoples Party followed the resignation of the former Speaker, Moses Sule, and his deputy, Gwottaon Fom.
Timothy Dantong, representing Riyom constituency, also emerged the new Deputy Speaker of the Assembly.
