The singer, while announcing the residency, said he was bringing the celebration back home after 15 years in the music industry.
He wrote, “LAGOS!!! We bringing it HOME! 15 years of madness and there’s nowhere I’d rather be.
“The world has shown us so much love.”
The announcement was accompanied by videos of Davido performing before large audiences, as well as footage of Lagos and the National Theatre.
The residency will see the singer perform before fans at the National Theatre for three consecutive nights.
The concerts will also mark 15 years of Davido’s career in music.
