DELTA POLICE ARREST THREE WOMEN, RECOVER CODEINE AND NITROUS OXIDE

The Delta State Police Command has arrested three female suspects during a coordinated raid on a suspected drug hideout in Warri metropolis, where large quantities of illicit substances, including Canadian Loud, codeine, and nitrous oxide, were recovered.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, who said the operation was conducted on May 7, 2026, at about 9:20 p.m. by operatives of the Area Command, Effurun, following credible intelligence.
The raid targeted suspected drug traffickers operating in Ogbomoro and Ugolo communities in Warri.
According to the statement, those arrested include an alleged drug baron, 25-year-old Favor Isaac, alongside two female accomplices, Favour Felix, 24, and Samson Precious, 19.
The statement further noted that acting on intelligence, operatives carried out a covert operation which led to the arrest of the suspects at their hideout.
A search of the premises reportedly led to the recovery of 21 bottles of CSC Codeine, two canisters of nitrous oxide commonly known as “laughing gas,” two packs of suspected psychoactive chewing gum branded “Highness Gum,” and 640 grams of suspected Canadian Loud concealed in different containers.
Preliminary investigations also linked a fleeing suspect, Rukewe Tega Isaac, as the alleged mastermind and major supplier of the drug network.
